Dreaming of diving or snorkelling with whale sharks? This is the right trip for you! Following a route similar to our standard Best of Maldives itinerary, these trips are focused on whaleshark experiences, spending more time around South Ari Atoll – one of the top destinations in the world for year-round whale shark sightings with daily encounters between August and November.

As whale sharks are usually seen close to the surface, we may schedule to snorkel instead of dive at late notice…but we will also plan to snorkel between dives as best as we can. 

We will also visit the top dive sites of the Best of Maldives itinerary.

Highlights:

• Rasdhoo Atoll: Hammerhead dive, beautiful reef with pelagics
• North Ari Atoll: Grey reef sharks, Fish Head, Maaya Thila, multiple manta ray cleaning stations and feeding grounds for year-round encounters
